Who was your Watford man-of-the-match against Barnsley?

Picture: Action Images Picture: Action Images

There are very few games where almost a whole side underperforms but yesterday was one of them for Watford.

Jonathan Bond made a few good saves during the 1-0 defeat to Barnsley and Fernando Forestieri and Geoffrey Mujangi Bia made an impact from the substitutes bench, but it is hard to pick out any others who impressed during the lacklustre display.

However, you may disagree with me. Take part in our man-of-the-match ballot and tell us who your standout performer was for the Hornets.

In my opinion, nobody deserved to be man of the match. The whole team performance was poor. However, I voted for Bond as he made a few saves without which it could have been 2 or 3 nil

I would have voted for the coach driver if he had been available, such was the dire performance.

My Man of the Match was the referee - for blowing the full-time whistle.

This game was an ab-so-lute stinker.
It reminded me of watching Watford FC in the early 90s. The team seems to have suddenly lost its confidence and flair. Any player who accepts a MOTM award for this performance should politely decline it.

What has happened to Vydra - head turned by all the January speculation? And can we stop offering long contracts mid-season, please? As soon as we do, the players seem to lose their edge.

Oh, and a message to the two Watford players who went straight down the tunnel after the game, without even bothering to look up at the Hornets fans a few yards away from them - a 1,000 of us spent a lot of money to see that dross, so get your heads out of your ar$es and show a bit of respect next time.

Rant over. COYH!

I know this sounds silly but can we play in yellow at the next away game please? Blue seems to spell bad luck for us.

I know what you mean. But the next away game is Hull City, so it'll be blue again, I'm afraid. :-(

You can guarantee it'll be yellow at Millwall, Peterborough United and Leicester City, as they all play in blue. :-)

I had to vote for Lloyd doyley as he was immense all game. If it wasnt for him and nos the scoreline would hav been worse. The back 5 worked there socks off. Cassetti and anya were always available for a pass and attack down the flanks but the midfield 3 couldnt find them. Fessi was awesome when came on and his intelligent interplay was another level. He should hav started in mid as he wouldnt do any worse. It would be impossible to do worse. He would hav at least had a run at them and invited a few fouls and got us out of our half. He should be utilised alot better. Lloyd was outstanding and proved how dependable he is.

Man of the match by a mile was Nyron Nosworhty, head and shoulders above the rest of a poor bunch.

Agree with that completely chariots, it did feel like we played first half with 8 men! It was like a 5 a side match until chab came on. Felt anya should have stayed on as was at least trying to make a difference with his pace down flank, just no options inside to pass to once he got up pitch, just no midfield. So anya my mom for trying.
