Watford freeze Earlybird season ticket prices Watford freeze Earlybird season ticket prices

Watford have confirmed the club will not be increasing season ticket prices for those who renew during the 'Earlybird Window'.

Chief executive Scott Duxbury said he would not anticipate an increase in season ticket prices back in November and the club have this afternoon confirmed that is indeed the case for current holders who renew between the 'Earlybird Window' of March 19 and April 6.

There are currently 9,350 season ticket holders. There will be an increase of eight per cent for new applicants, although new under-16 holders will be able to pay the 2012/13 prices.

Watford froze the majority of season ticket prices for the 2012/13 season and there were ten per cent reductions last year in the Vicarage Road Family Stand for the main adult price, over-65s and young adults and students.

Earlybird adult season tickets for next season will cost £460 in the Upper Rous and £355 in the Rookery and Lower Rous. The Family Stand will be £315.

Over 65 Earlybird tickets will be £340 in the Upper Rous, £210 in the Rookery and Lower Rous and £185 in the Family Stand.

Young adult/student tickets and under-16 seats will be £230 and £125 respectively in the Upper Rous and in the Rookery and Lower Rous they will be £140 and £60.

All the above prices are if you buy online, in person or through the post during the Earlybird Window. There will be increases if you pay by direct debit during this period.

Prices for after the window are currently unknown.

Huge credit to the club for this.

Feared prices would go up.

We really do appear to have gone from the worst to the best owners in football.

Our Italian friends and Mr Duxbury are doing a wonderful job, if only the national media gave them an ounce of credit for it.
