WANDERERS winger Junior Morias admitted to having misgivings about moving on loan to Hendon - but said he's come back to Adams Park a better player.
The 17-year-old scored five goals in eight games during his stay with the Ryman Premier League side, helping them climb the table.
The Greens were unbeaten with Morias in the ranks but the Wycombe youngster said he had to stay on top of his game to keep his place in the team.
He said: "I've learnt a lot from the loan. A lot of people at Hendon wanted to be in my position. I worked hard to stay in my position. Hopefully I can come back in the team and show them what I've learnt and get goals.
"I scored quite a few, which was a good experience to help Hendon climb up the table. They've helped me as well."
But he admitted: "At first I didn't agree [to go to Hendon] but at the end of the day I'm still young so have to do what I'm supposed to do. I went out there, worked hard, didn't sack it off and worked hard knowing I have to represent Wycombe, I have to represent myself and I have to represent the gaffer."
Lee Angol is also on loan at Hendon and helped them extend their ten match unbeaten run with a goalless draw at home to Margate.
