Still gutted this morning and like GFZ I did not see them scoring. Really disappointed with the Anya miss and his reaction after to smile almost laugh left a sour taste in my mouth !! dont think the excellent Casseti would have been too impressed after his skill and guile had created the gold plated opening.Need to win on Tuesday and at the mo having horrible vibes about that game. Please somebody put me out of my misery and tell me we have nothing too worry about .

Like you gutted by result and the seemingly continual failure to kill teams off when we can.

We need to back the players to continue the incredible run we have been on.

Cardiff : played 34 70 points
Hull : played 35 65 points
Watford : played 35 63 points
Crystal Palace : played 35 61 points
Leicester : played 34 57 points
Brighton : played 34 55 points

Let's forget last night.

We are only 2 pts behind Hull. We still have yet to play them.

And we're only 7 points behind Cardiff who MAY now be on the slide. Leicester seem to be and no team
beneath us can catch us even if the games in hand go against us.

There are still a massive 33/36 points available from the last games.

Two wins next week in what appear to be easy games then we will be seriously back in contention.

Yes, last night felt like a kick in the guts but when put into perspective, we are in a very strong position.

On paper we have to make hay in March to set us up for the pivotal clashes in April.

TD & MV just not quite clicking in the past couple of games. Time for FF & AG to start on Tuesday?

I think its brilliant that we sit in this position today. Fernandos will not be happy missing two chances but its good he finds himself in great positions, make no bones about it , he is a very skilled player.Matej looked a bit jaded on friday, but he is allowed an off night, he still worked hard for the side
When Wolves equalised it was as if they had won the league, shows how much we are now regarded in this league.Whatever happens between now till end of the season its been a roller coaster ride being a hornet......Things looking bright.

Quite right, old chap.
Although I´m also dissapointed by the 2 points dropped it is just one of those things that happens. We couldn´t finish them of and then there´s a chance of what just happened. Let´s look at the positive side of it.

It was an eye-opener to Zola and possibly some of the players: 1) A game is min. 90 mins. 2) It´s not over until the fat lady sings. and 3) Some ballpractice is needed for some of the guys.

All that said, I still think the Hornets are going up, but if we´re TOTALLY ready for it is another matter. I sincerely hope so.......

Agreed. It really would be a terrible disappointment if we don't do it this season - that's enough of the "old" by the way!

The problem is that sides are now putting two men on Vydra and trying to kick him. No wonder he looks a bit fed up. Also, the crossing needs to improve, particularly from the left.

Good post. Hunt had a good kick at MV in the first minute, ref never spoke to him and he was running around like a headless chicken, his mantra seemed to be if it has a black shirt on, kick it!

With respect I saw the equaliser coming. For 4 reasons:

If you don't put the game to bed (take your chances, you always run the risk)

We sat too deep and wanted to play in front of them which invited them onto us and we ended up continuously under pressure

They have Sako who always looked likey to do something special either with his crossing or in and around the penalty area. He is one of the best players in the Division

More worringly and as a trend we are not good at defending leads and seeing out matches. We have to learn how to win when not at our best. Zola and the players need to learn how to win when the performance runs out of momentum which it clearly did again on Friday. Wolves deserved their point for the way they battled and showed us a lesson in that respect.

If it has a black shirt on it's ok to kick it, if it's blue (or yellow) then it's not.

Message to tomorrow's referee - watch for players kicking Vydra.
