Watford are likely to come up against a Birmingham City side without two of their main attacking threats when they visit St Andrew’s tomorrow.
The Blues claim top scorer and former Hornets striker Marlon King is unlikely to feature after picking up a knock in last weekend’s 1-1 draw against Charlton Athletic, while a furious Lee Clark has criticised the conduct of fellow front man Nikola Zigic in training and revealed he will be dropped from the match-day squad.
The Birmingham manager’s pre-match press conference was carried on their official Twitter feed this morning and commenting on Zigic, Clark said: “It makes me very angry. I’m not prepared to accept players who don’t show the work ethic required. It’s about high standards.
“Some fans will be up in arms but they’re paying his wages and it’s not right. I’m not prepared to accept that type of behaviour.”
Clark could turn to Peter Lovenkrands and new arrival Wes Thomas, while Nathan Redmond and Ravel Morrison are among other options to play up front.
The Blues are unbeaten in their last five Championship games, winning two of their three previous matches, but they sit just four points above the relegation zone.

Strongest team please mr Z. Batts for Hogg and Ekstrand or Nos for the unlucky Hoban and me thinks the after match curry will taste even nicer with three more points in the bag
