Joel feeling fit ahead of Bantams test
A TRAINING regime more akin to pre-season means Wanderers players are feeling fit ahead of tonight's visit from Bradford City.
Blues boss Gareth Ainsworth said some of his players were running on empty after successive wins against Gillingham and York City.
But Joel Grant said Wanderers are fit and raring to go as they host the Capital One Cup finalists thanks to Ainsworth's new training regime.
The winger, who scored in Saturday's win against York, said: "I don't want to jinx us before Tuesday night but for me I think we've been as fit as we have been. We've definitely been working hard by doing extra running in training. Some weeks it feels like we're still in pre-season.
"The last two games has made that game a bit easier, if you like, because it's taken a bit of pressure off. It can only put us in good stead for Tuesday."
Grant is confident Blues can continue their run of nine wins out of thirteen against a surprisingly out of form Bradford side.
The Wembley finalists are without a league win since Boxing Day and have lost four of their last five games.
But Grant said: "I'm sure they'll be up for it. They've been doing really well in the cup and league, but for us we'll try and do the same thing again."
