Gaz wants trio to stay

GARETH Ainsworth hopes to extend the stays of three of his attackers in the next few days - starting with Ade Azeez, whose loan spell he wants to prolong tomorrow.

The England youth international's injury curtailed loan spell came to an end after today's defeat by Exeter City, but Ainsworth has liked what he has seen from the youngster and said he will be getting on the phone to his opposite number at Charlton Athletic, Chris Powell, tomorrow.

Ainsworth said he's also keen to extend winger Bruno Andrade's stay from QPR and tie Dean Morgan to a longer term deal.

The Blues boss said: "We've got Bruno for the rest of the month - we'll have to address that one. There's a couple of loan things to address in January. Ade's the most important one - that will be done tomorrow."

He hopes a deal for Morgan, whose contract at Adams Park is up this month, can also be sorted before Blues face his former club Chesterfield on Saturday.

Ainsworth said: "We've been talking to Dean and we are close with him. He's happy here, we are happy with him and in the next few days there will be something with Dean."

I think Gareth is doing a fine job, but on what I have seen only Dean Morgan looks worth a new deal. Today Ade couldnt trap a bag of cement, but very few had a good game, and it looked to me that Matt McClure was injured.
