Kuffour out of cup tie
JO Kuffour has been ruled out of Saturday's FA Cup tie at Crewe with an ankle injury picked up against Oxford.
The striker was taken off in the first half of last weekend's 3-1 defeat and looks set to be on the sidelines for three weeks.
Fellow forward Dean Morgan is also rated doubtful to face the Alex, but there's better news for Blues fans with Matt McClure and Bruno Andrade likely to be fit for Saturday.
Caretaker manager Gareth Ainsworth had hoped to use the cup tie as a chance to rest a couple of players but he said: "The injury list restricts that a little bit. We're still carrying a couple of first teamers who've been playing superbly for me in the medical room."
Crewe have injury problems of their own with highly-rated youngsters Max Clayton and AJ Leitch-Smith ruled out and former Maidenhead midfielder Abdul Osman also struggling.
