GARETH Ainsworth sees last week's defeat at Port Vale as nothing more than a blip - and has challenged his players to start another winning run.

Blues saw their three match winning streak come to an end with a 4-1 defeat at Vale Park before recovering to claim a point against Barnet on Tuesday night.

Wanderers preceded their trio of victories with another draw, against Plymouth, and Ainsworth hopes lightning strikes twice.

He said: "We were on a fantastic run of four games, a draw and three wins, before Port Vale. That was a blip, and it was a blip because we had ten men, and now can we start it again? We started with another draw, it's turned again and it's looking good."
