ENFIELD Judo Club returned with a fistful of medals from a recent competition in Europe.
A group of youth and senior members made the trip to Jodoigne, near Brussels, in Belgium, and came back with a haul of four gold medals, two silvers and seven bronzes.
Gold medals went to Siobhan O'Neill, Amy Thompson, Shannon Austen and Harrison Smith, silver medals to Prisca Awiti and Rhys Thompson, and bronze medals to Remmi Austen, Sasha Michalevitsch, Diju Awiti, Dominique Jaques and Samuel Hill.
Enfield pair Amy Thompson and Siobhan O'Neill joined up with another British club at the tournament and they also claimed bronze medals after finishing in third place.
Enfield Judo Club is currently looking for sponsors who would be prepared to support the sport in and around the borough of Enfield. This will assist the club with meeting high running costs.
Would-be sponsors should contact instructor George Hyslop on 01480 381714 or 07799 770919.
