Chase Side Youth celebrate their joint title triumph

CHASE SIDE Youth were left on cloud nine after being crowned joint champions of the Rural Friendly League Under-10 Division.

They won their final nine matches of the season to be named joint champions with Brimsdown Rovers.

Chase Side were presented with their medals at an awards ceremony at Brimsdown's Goldsdown Road ground.

The team's manager Mark Carthy and coach Danny Lewsley both praised the effort and commitment of their players as well as the support of the youngsters' parents.

Next season the side moves up from seven-a-side to the 11-a-side game.

Chase Side Youth are now seeking sponsorship to fund this move and provide the squad with a new playing strip.

Anyone who is interested in helping with sponsorship is asked to speak to either Graham or Debbie on 020 8245 2190.
