How hard can it be to manage a side like Wood?
Surely a rudimentary knowledge of the game, the ability to pick players in their correct positions, and that's about it. What else can you possibly need?
All you have to do is say stuff like 'keep it tight at the back lads', 'play it to feet', 'keep an eye on the big man' and so on.
Maybe I should apply. The only problem would be working with the chairman, who I should imagine is quite demanding. But then that's the case anywhere.
I don't expect candidates to come rushing forward though.

How about Jim Chandler(if still available) ex Enfield Town. Spent many years there and built a very good footballing side. I hope he applies.

Is anyone man enough to take a job that you may only be in for a few weeks....I don't think so..Even if you do a good job you will not see the season out. Danny needs to get his act together...
