Hendon agrees two-year extension
Ian Hendon
Ian Hendon

"I am delighted."

That was Ian Hendon's reaction to a new improved two-year deal to stay as assistant manager to Paul Fairclough at Barnet.

The popular defender, who managed a handful of games this season, despite hanging up his boots, said he wanted to see the Bees in the play-offs this time next year.

The 36-year-old was captain of the Bees during their Conference-winning season.

"Barnet has been a big part in my life for the last five years," he added.

It is good news to hear Ian is staying. He is Barnet to the core.
Well done.
