Flinders moves to Blackpool

Crystal Palace keeper Scott Flinders has joined Championship rivals Blackpool on loan for the rest of the season.

The shot stopper had been on loan at League One Yeovil Town for the last two months, but has taken the chance to step up a league and join the seasiders for their remaining six games of the season.

Flinders was signed by previous Palace boss Peter Taylor for £1million from Barnsley in 2006 and has made 10 appearances for the Eagles.

He has previously been farmed out to Gillingham and Brighton & Hove Albion on loan and found his chances at Palace limited by the form of Julian Speroni and manager Neil Warnock's preference not to have a keeper on the bench.

Due to league rules he will not be eligible to play for Blackpool when they visit Selhurst Park this Saturday.
