Dartford boxer enjoys victory

A YOUNG boxer from Dartford has fought his way to victory at the Royal Navy Schools Amateur Boxing Association of England Championships in Brentwood.
Cian Kirwan, 12, from Nemesis ABC, saw off stiff competition in the 32kg final of the competition from Pearce Gudgeon, representing Steel City ABC.
He said: “I’ve been training really hard every day for this so am really pleased to have won.
“I’ve only been boxing for six months, so this is my first season and final.”
