Wasps England aces are honoured
WASPS' stars were among the honours at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards when the England rugby team were crowned Team of the Year.
The team, which was skippered by Wasps' Phil Vickery and included several of his Adams Park clubmates defied the critics by reaching the final of the Rugby Wolrd Cup.
Talking on behalf of the team, blind-side flanker Martin Corry said: "I think the term 'rollercoaster of emotions' is often overused but it seems perfectly apt to describe our journey through the World Cup.
"I think every one of the players, the management and the coaches all deserve a mark of respect for that."
