David Moyes maintains there will be no contract discussions for himself or his players until West Ham are safe.

It was reported this week that, although the club's owners David Sullivan and David Gold want Moyes to stay on as manager beyond the end of the season, he is yet to make up his mind.

It has also been claimed that the Hammers are eager to tie midfielder Manuel Lanzini down to a longer-term contract - the Argentinian currently has two years left on his current deal with the option of an extra year.

Yet Moyes said: "You always want to keep your best players, but there's no truth in that.

"We wouldn't look at it again until we find out what league we are in."

On his own situation, Moyes added: "It's got nothing to do with not making my mind up, it's what I've said from the start, that we won't make any decisions until the end of the season.

"We won't be making any decision until we know we are still a Premier League club.

"My view hasn't changed, my conversations with the club have been very good, we are preparing for next season and getting things in place which you have to do at this time of year.

"But I don't think things have changed from what was said at the start.

"I'm enjoying the club and enjoying working with the people around it. The supporters have been great, they've realised we need their backing."

West Ham's supporters have called off a protest march, which was due to take place before next weekend's home game against Burnley.

Fans unhappy with the way the club is being run at board level have been placated, for now at least, after a series of meetings with the Hammers' hierarchy.

Moyes added: "We want everybody together to give West Ham the best chance, and if we are to start competing again and challenging some of the top teams in the future then we need everybody to be together.

"We need the supporters with us. I don't know all their grievances but since I've been here I've really enjoyed the effort they have put in both away from home and at home, and I'm going to need them until the end of the season.

"We have a lot of work to do to make sure we are still a Premier League team and the more they get behind us the better."

West Ham travel to Swansea on Saturday with an unchanged squad. Andy Carroll, Pedro Obiang and Edimilson Fernandes remain out injured and Arthur Masuaku is still suspended.
