Frank de Boer has emerged as the new favourite to take over at Crystal Palace.
Burnley chief Sean Dyche has been the overwhelming favourite since Sam Allardyce’s sudden resignation last month.

The former Ajax manager is also hotly tipped to succeed Claude Puel at Southampton.

Despite a turbulent spell with Inter Milan last season, De Boer is still well thought of as a manager after guiding Ajax to four Eredivisie titles.
Palace have held talks with the Dutchman and Mauricio Pellegrino over their managerial vacancy.
And after missing out on Marco Silva, who chose to go to Premier League rivals Watford, the Eagles will be keen to appoint a new boss soon.
