Former Crystal Palace and Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh has signed a short-term deal with Cardiff City.
The 32-year-old, who was released by Palace in the summer, will stay with the Bluebirds until January.
The Morocco international revealed the chance to reunite with manager Neil Warnock was a big factor in his decision to join the club.
Chamakh told Cardiff City Player: “I’m so happy to be here and work with the manager again.

“I worked for him [Warnock] at Crystal Palace before and I’m happy and proud to work with him here at Cardiff City.
“Cardiff are a side that should be on top and I think we can improve going forward. I’m looking forward to meeting with my new team-mates and getting started. I can’t wait to score for my new team.”
Warnock, 67, added: “We’ve signed Marouane on a short-term deal until January to assess his fitness.
“He’s a versatile player with pedigree and somebody who impressed me during my time at Crystal Palace.”
