Mu Maan grabbed a vital winner for Corinthian-Casuals over title favourites Greenwich Borough with just TWO seconds left on the referee’s watch to gift James Bracken’s side their first win this season.

The 93rd minute pounce from Maan after a fine pass by Dave Hodges ensured Corinth took all three points in a dramatic finale, which saw Casuals take the 1-0 win.

Afterwards, the referee stated there was just two seconds of the allotted 3 minutes added time left to play when the midfielder struck.

And Bracken was delighted with his side’s first three points over potential title rivals. “It’s a confidence booster,” said the manager.

“There’s no better time to score than in the 90th minute, but obviously we’re looking to score throughout the match.”

“Our build up play and possession was good but just lacking in the final third tonight.”

“I’d have taken two points from the first two games if I’m honest, playing sides who finished in the playoffs last season and who have the biggest budgets in the league.”

“So I’m delighted to come away with three points tonight.”

Casuals start their FA Cup campaign at home to Hythe Town on Saturday.
