HARRY Redknapp was happy to overturn the history books, last weekend.
The Anfield hosts were well beaten, with goals by Rafael van der Vaart and then Luka Modric, on Sunday.
“Four wins in 99 years just shows you how difficult the club has found it to win here. But we did it and we deserved it.
“It was a great performance,” hailed Spurs boss Redknapp.
Three points edged Spurs above Liverpool in the Premier League into fifth place, inside the Europa League place.
"It was a big win for us. We had to win to try and finish above Liverpool and it’s still all to play for in the last game," said Redknapp.
“We have a tough game against Birmingham, who need a result now.
"It won’t be easy but we’ve given ourselves a chance," he added.
