Tottenham Hotspur are interested in Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic according to reports.
Kovacic joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2015 from Serie A giants Inter Milan, but he has struggled to hold down a first-team place during his time at the Bernabeu.
Reports in Spain are now claiming that Spurs are interested in signing the 23-year-old, however, they could face competition from their North London rivals Arsenal, who are also reportedly interested in the Croatian midfielder.
Kovacic has also been linked with a return to Italy, with Roma, AC Milan and Inter Milan all linked with moves for the Madrid midfielder.
