Moorhouse's Lancashire League Twenty20: It's a Ram slam

RAMSBOTTOM won the Moorhouse's Lancashire League Twenty20 crown last nght for the third year on the trot as they beat Church to bring the curtain down on the 2012 campaign.

Lloyd Aspin (40) and Saeed Anwar (37) were the mainstays of the Church innings as they posted 118-7 from 20 overs at Acre Bottom.Home skipper Jonathan Fielding did the damage with the ball as he claimed 3-17 from his four overs.

Fielding then shone with the bat as his side wobbles to 41-4 and made 33 not out to take his side over the line.

Well at least they did not have to throw there losers medals in the dustbin , like they did against colne a couple of years ago in the worsley cup.
