Going into week twelve of the South London & Kent Pool Alliance, Royal Oak Addicks were looking for a win to clinch the Tier Two West title and record their tenth straight win of the season but Bellegrove A, in second had different ideas.

Bellegrove won the first set 4-1, then the second set went to two frames each, with the two captains battling out the decider, which Bellegrove's John Skuza took to give them a 2-0 and 7-3 lead.

Addicks couldn't recover and Bellegrove took the final set 4-1 to finish triumphant by 3 sets to 0 and 11 frames to 4, to reduce the gap at the top of the table to just three points.

Skuza finished up unbeaten with two frame wins but Ritchie Mitchell and Stephen Craig both won all three of their frames.

Given the intensity and how much was at stake, this game was played in a great spirit and both teams were a credit to the league, with Bellegrove deserving their win.

Glenmore Arms A are just one point behind Bellegrove after a massive, 3-0 and 12-3 win over Pickwick Academicals.

At the beginning of the match you would never have envisioned that score, as Academicals won the first two frames but Glenmore went on to take the next eight frames in a row for a, 2-0 and 8-2 lead.

Glenmore finished the match by taking the final set by 4 frames to 1.

They showed their dominance by having four unbeaten players, with Tony Stevens and Paul Thomas winning both their frames and Alex Thompson and James Grant scoring a hat-trick.

Fox and Hounds haul themselves off the bottom of the table in to fifth place with an impressive victory over Eltham Terrace Nuthouse in fourth.

The first set was tied at, two all, with Fox's Clive Forrest winning the decider, before Fox took the second set by the same 3-2 score line.

The first two frames of the final set were shared, then Craig Jones put Nuthouse one up with his third frame win of the night.

Forrest equalised with his three out of three before Fox Captain, Kerry Wyatt won the decider to give her side the 3-0 and 9-6 victory.

It was a good night for the Bellegrove, as they beat Hotshots by 2 sets to 1 and 9 frames to 6 to replace them at the top of the SLKPA Elite League.

Eltham Terrace Club A suffered a setback in their pursuit of the top two, going down to a 2-1 and 8-7 defeat to Pickwick.

despite the loss Eltham's Dave Rawlinson won all three of his frames.

It was a hard fought victory for the Pickwick as they dug in to put them a match nearer avoiding relegation.

Also a match nearer avoiding the drop are O'Connors, who are on the same points as Pickwick after beating Eltham Terrace Rack Pack 2-1 and 10-5.

Four points behind O'Connors and Pickwick and current holders of the final relegation spot are Foots Cray Social Club Rugrats, who continued their fight against relegation with a win against already relegated Eltham Terrace Rovers.

Rovers had the better start, winning the first two frames and they went on to win the first set, 3-2.

Rugrats won the next set by the same score to set up a tense final set.

Rugrats won the first frame of the last set but Ryan Francis won his third frame of the night to tie the match.

The next two frames were shared to send the match in to a final frame decider, which Rugrats Shane Burnett held his nerve to win and give his team the 2-1 and 8-7 victory.

In SLKPA Tier Two East Bellegrove Social Club made it a hat-trick of wins for the club on the night with a, 3-0 and 9-6 victory over North Heath Social Club.

Jason Brunton's three out of three helped Bellegrove to leapfrog their opponents into fourth place.

The bottom two faced each other as Foots Cray Social Club Minions hosted Glenmore Arms 2.

The first two sets were close, with Glenmore just edging them, 3-2 but the final set was a one sided affair as glenmore whitewashed it 5-0 to give them a 3-0 and 11-4 victory.

It could have been a lot worse for Minions had youngster Brayden Shephard not won two of his three frames.

Glenmore's triumph was inspired by Dan Brown, Lewis Hearn and Shailash Vekaria, who all won a frame in each set.

After clinching the division title last week, Falconwood Club have remained unbeaten after a win against Royal Oak this week.

A good spirited game resulted in a comfortable, 4-1 3-2 3-2 set score giving them the 3-0 and 10-5 victory.

Paul Elford, Stacy Redman and Barry Barham did most of the damage, all winning all three of their frames.

Redman took out a superb clearance in the third set to give the champions maximum points.
