Jack Dishart is now unbeaten in seven fights after a hard-earned four-round points win at the Camden Centre on May 16.

The Bexleyheath fighter was taking on Andrej Moravek from Slovakia and admitted afterwards it had been a real battle to overcome his opponent.

Dishart said: “It was a tough fight. He definitely came to ruin my night.

“I thought I would be stronger than him and be able to push him back to the ropes, but it wasn’t the case at all.

“He didn’t stop coming and didn’t stop throwing punches.”

Dishart added: “He definitely won the first round and I had to change the game plan.

“I had to start boxing and moving.

“It was a good learning fight, I showed I can adapt and get through a fight.

“You don’t want to many easy wins.

“Tough fights like that get you ready for the tough fights you get when you reach championship level.”

Dishart plans to be back in the ring in September at lightweight.

He scaled 10st 8lbs for the win over Moravek, but plans to get a nutritionist on board to help him get down to 9st 9lbs.

Lewisham super-bantamweight Junior Saeed should be back in the ring in July after a hand injury ruled him out of the show at the Camden Centre.

Saeed picked up the injury during his shut-out four-round points win over Miklos Hevesi in Derry earlier this month, his fifth straight win.
