Watford were knocked out of the Herts Senior Cup on Tuesday night after suffering a 5-2 defeat against Hemel Hempstead Town in the quarter final.
The game was level at 1-1 at the interval. Nicke Kabamba headed home the Tudors’ opener whilst Kunle Otudeko was on target for the Hornets.
After the break, Kabamba fired Hemel back in front but again the Golden Boys hit back as Ogo Obi equalised.
However, Hemel then took control of the tie. Dennis Oli hit a quick double and Zane Banton rounded off the scoring after good work from Mo Shariff.
Watford: Ammann; Rowan, Stevens, Kyprianou; Lewis, Makaka (Cook 71), Otudeko (Pereira 85), O'Nien, Mason (Eleftheriou 59); Folivi, Obi.
Watford substitutes not used: Gartside, Charles.
