Premier Division

With league leaders May & Baker EC ‘A’ not in action, Jolof Sports Club closed the gap to five points by beating St Francis 4-3.

Modou Sankareh was the hero for Jolof, hitting a hat-trick for the hosts, whilst Tahin Guy Landry also netted. Danny Schietaert, Jake McMullen and Jack Luck scored in reply for St Francis.

Steven Richard grabbed a treble as AAH Romford beat Cranes United 6-3.

Ryan Quincey (2) and Joseph Tizard were also on target as Romford moved into ninth place.

Brandon Dujon scored all four in Newham Reserves’ 4-4 draw with Melbourne Sports.

Ben Taylor, John Shubert, Gavin Merrifield and Marcus Hill were the scorers for the visitors, who are a place behind in seventh.

Division One

Blue Marlin extended their lead at the summit of Division One to six points thanks to a 4-2 win over Northend.

Luke Paul Gabriel scored a brace for Northend, but it was not enough and Marlin edged further ahead of Vittoriosa Falcons.

There was a hat-trick from Thomas Walsh in Forest Green’s 4-1 win over Chingford Town Reserves.

Ricky Stewart added the fourth, leaving Forest in fourth.

Strugglers Glendale pulled off a shock, winning 2-1 at London Bari Reserves.

John Taylor and Kalu Olugu scored for Glendale, with Jeffrey Nketia hitting back for Bari.

Division Two

Second-placed Cowley Community eased past Northern Reserves 1-0, cutting Leyton Green’s lead to a point.

Cowley also boast the advantage of a game in hand over the table toppers. Thom Bryan got the game’s only goal.

West Essex Reserves played out a nine-goal thriller with Custom House, triumphing 5-4.

Charles Saunders, Samuel Brown, Lloyd Renvoize, Harry Finch and Gary Barnett were all on target for West Essex, whilst Paul Wooster (3) and Robert Wooster notched for House.

Grove United picked up a comprehensive 5-1 win at Dagenham United, with Roy Jones, Ben Lowes, Jayson McLeod, Alex Victor and Jamie Pooley all hitting the back of the net.

Newham Royals and Singh Sabha Barking drew 3-3 in a lively affair.

Christopher Cuming, Kristopher Griffin and Lewis Stichbury got the Newham goals, with efforts from Jordan Aaron Hamilton, Raphael Grant and Barni Lakhan ensuring a point for Barking.

Canio prevailed 3-2 at St Francis Reserves – just their third win of the season.

Nathan Leak, Robert Haim and Zakari Wundowa got the all-important goals, as strikes from Marcel Byfield and Damien Williams proved in vain.

Division One Cup Quarter-Final

Daniel Vearer scored a hat-trick as Vittoriosa Falcons crushed Lord Nelson 7-0.

Graham Reeves added a brace, whilst Daniel Palmer was also amongst the goals.

Essex Junior Cup Round Three

hingford Athletic were in ruthless form, emphatically beating Weir Sports 7-1.

Sumners won 3-2 at Chingford Town in the day’s other tie.

AFA Intermediate Cup Round Two

Old Westminster Citizens (Reserves) were comfortable 4-1 winners over Division Two side Leyton Green.
