Watford have completed the loan signing of Crystal Palace midfielder Adlene Guedioura, the Algerian international will remain at Vicarage Road until January 1.

We revealed yesterday that the 29-year-old was set to sign with the Hornets as he is keen to secure first team football ahead of January’s African Cup of Nations.

Guedioura, who joined Palace in the summer of 2013, has found it difficult to break into the Eagles’ side this season and has only made six appearances in all competitions.

He first moved to England in January 2010 when he joined then Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan. The deal was made permanent the following summer.

He played 38 times for Wolves before losing his place in the team and eventually joined Nottingham Forest on loan in January 2012.

He featured 19 times for Forest and the deal was made permanent in the summer of 2012. He stayed one season before signing for Palace on summer transfer deadline day in 2013.
