Watford produced arguably their most complete performance of the season at Sheffield Wednesday. Several players impressed in the 3-0 victory but who was your man of the match?

Matej Vydra has looked back to his best in recent games and was threatening throughout at Hillsborough.

He assisted the first goal of the contest for Odion Ighalo and a got on the scoresheet in the second period with a deft finish over Keiren Westwood.

Fernando Forestieri caused the Owls’ defence several problems with his direct dribbling. He created space for the likes of Vydra and Ighalo and played an instrumental role in the Hornets’ first and second goals.

Sebastien Bassong made his Golden Boys debut and settled seamlessly into the defence. The Norwich City loanee looked composed in possession and made several crucial blocks to deny the Owls.

He hadn’t played a competitive first-team game since April but Watford supporters will have been undoubtedly encouraged by his first outing in a yellow shirt.

New Hornets boss Slavisa Jokanovic set his side up in a 4-1-2-2-1 formation. Daniel Tozser was the deepest of the midfield trio and broke up several of Wednesday's attacks and, as usual, his passing was rarely misplaced.
