Both Bellegrove and Bellegrove Social Club B visited Eltham Terrace this week to play the A side and the Nuthouse respectively and both came away with a win in the South London & Kent Pool Alliance.

In the Elite League second played third and it was Bellegrove who extended their lead over Eltham Terrace Club A to seven points with a 3-0 and 10-5 victory.

Craig Mallinder was man of the match, winning all three of his fframes.

Pickwick took advantage of Eltham Terrace's setback, going four points behind them with a confident victory over bottom team North Heath Social Club.

The Maltese duo of Paul Gafa and Allan Formosa were the inspiration behind the 2-1 and 9-6 victory, each winning all three of their frames.

Simon Morris made a great clearance to win the fifth frame for North Heath.

Rileys Rebels are fighting hard to stay out of the final relegation spot and went close to doing so this week after a 3-0 and 12-3 victory over Royal Oak put them equal on points with Rugrats.

Rebels were consistent all night, winning each set 4-1 in a brilliant all round team performance, with Stacy Redman, Peter Wells, Paul Elford and Barry Barham all unbeaten, winning two frames each.

Foots Cray Social Club Rugrats did well against league leaders O'Connors but still ended up losing by 2 sets to 1 and 10 frames to 5.

Bellegrove Social Club B made it a Bellegrove double over Eltham Terrace teams this week as they beat Nuthouse 2-1 and 9-6 to go twelve point behind them in SLKPA Tier Two East.

The first set went to two frames each but John Ufuoma won the frame to give Bellegrove the lead, however he went on to lose the first frame of the next set.

The next two frames were shared before Julie Lancaster got her own back on John Skuza to give Nuthouse the set and tie the match.

The first three frames of the final set went to Bellegrove to give them the victory before Ufuoma won the final frame to make the set score 4-1.

Alan Boltwood made his debut for the victors and won both the frames he played and Terry Mitchell won two of his three frames, as did Ben McIntosh and Craig Jones for Nuthouse.

Glenmore Arms A go seven points clear of Nuthouse after beating bottom team White Hart, 2-1 and 10-5.

Glenmore took the first set 3-2 but White Hart won the first three frames of the second set, to tie the match in sets and go 5-3 up in frames, however Glenmore went on to win the final seven frames to take the last set and the match.

The only unbeaten player on the night was Glenmore's Dean Coppen, winning all three of his frames.

O'Dowds Flyers went three points ahead of Glenmore after beating their other team, Glenmore Arms II by 3 sets to 0 and 12 frames to 3.

They got off to a flying start, taking the first set 4-1 but the second set was closer with a 3-2 score line, however the class showed in the final set, recording a whitewash.

Alex Dobbins and Keith Mitchell both won all three of their frames with Keith Smith, Jon Syta and Mavji Halai all only losing one each.

With the two Eltham Terrace teams playing at home not faring well, it was left to the other two, Rack Pack and Rovers to regain some dignity for the club and they did just that.

Rovers remain top of SLKPA Tier Two West with a 3-0 and 10-5 victory over bottom team Royal Oak Addicks.

The win wasn't as comprehensive as the score suggests after the first set went to a final frame decider, which Ryan Francis won for Rovers on his way to three out of three.

The Addicks could't keep it up in the second set as Lee O'Brien was the only one to win a frame, his second out of three frame wins.

Rovers won six frames in a row as they went on to win the first two frames of the last set but Addicks won the next  two to set up another final frame decider, which Francis won again.

This win puts Rovers within a week of taking the title, as they are eleven points ahead of Rack Pack with three games to play.

Rack Pack kept the title chase going for another week, after they struggled to a 3-0 and 11-4 victory over Lord Clyde.

The score line doesn't suggest a struggle but it was a tricky fixture with Rack Pack just edging the first two sets, 3-2 but they showed their pedigree in the last set, completing a 5-0 whitewash.

Tony Frost was faultless in his three out of three but Alex Thompson diced with death, showboating his way to a hat trick.

Chris Gaunt also scored a maximum, taking his tally to seven out of nine since he joined to replace Miro Cujic.

The points were shared between Pickwick Academicals and O'Dowds A as O'Dowds won 2-1 in sets but Academicals won 8-7 in frames.

O'Dowds won the first and last sets 3-2, with Academicals taking the middle set 4-1.

Les Ryan had a great night, winning all three frames for O'Dowds, with Billy Levingbird doing the same for Academicals, while Dean Williams produced two superb clearances for his two frame wins.
