Abery completes busy weekend
DAVID Abery claimed fourth spot at Sunday's mid Kent five-miler in a time of 30m09s.
The Istead & Ifield Harriers runner, who ran just 48 hours after an event on Good Friday, was the second male veteran to complete the race.
A total of 103 runners braved the cold and windy conditions to take part and Abery was one of a four-strong I&I contingent to compete.
Debbie Percival finished 13th overall in 31m15s and was the second lady veteran to cross the line.
Ray Harris was 50th in 37m57s, three places ahead of Dawn McDonald in 38m19s.
