An Olympic torch will be on display at this meeting and the Club 's oldest Olympian Jack Braughton, who competed in the 5000 metres at the London Games in 1948 will be in attendance.

The second meeting takes place on the 12th of April and is for school years 7 to 11. Both events are opportunites for the youngsters who are interested in Athletics to take part in an early season competition.
