Kitcher sets new best
DARTFORD Harriers runner Dave Kitcher produced a quality run while winning the M50 age group in a road race.
The Tony Durey-coached athlete ran in the Thanet 20-mile road race and produced a personal best and new club record of 2hr10m39s, finishing 15th overall.
Cara Oliver won the senior ladies race in a time of 2hr33m04s to finish 89th overall.
Wendy Tester ran the 20-mile race in a personal best time of 2hr45m06s.
Two other members of Dartford Harriers' road running section ran in the Greenwich Meridian 10km race on a very hilly course in Greenwich Park.
Stuart Waterman finished in 37m46s and Steve Hickmott recorded a time of 42m12s, both personal bests.
