THERE were a trio of top ten finishes for Dartford Harriers runners at the latest meeting of the Kent Fitness League at Oxleas Wood in Eltham.
Eight athletes made the top 25 in a field of more than 450 runners.
Clare Reeves, who won the women’s race at the previous round in Swanley, retained her title in style, finishing more than a minute clear of the second-placed athlete.
Chloe Sharp, aged 13, performed well over the five-and-a-half mile course to finish sixth in the women's race.
The Dartford men played their part too, with Chris Biddle, Craig Sharp and Mark Penny all making the top ten, finishing fifth, eighth and tenth respectively.
Pete Tucker, who is a second-claim member of Dartford Harriers, competed as a guest in the league and also ran well, finishing fifth overall.
Dartford Harriers’ finished first in the team standings for the second fixture in a row, and now top the table with four matches remaining.
