Player ratings from Charlton's 1-0 play-off semi-final second leg defeat to Shrewsbury...

Ben Amos - 7 - Made good saves to deny Alex Rodman and Stefan Payne in both halves. His kicking was a bit off.

Anfernee Dijksteel - 5 - He was often troubled by Rodman and struggled against his winger.

Patrick Bauer - 6 - Received an elbow to the face, which went unpunished. Stood tall at the back.

Jason Pearce - 6 - His distribution was poor today. You can never fault his commitment, though.

Jay Dasilva - 6 - Always tried to get forward when he could. Charlton’s diamond midfield left him exposed at times.

Tariqe Fosu - 5 - He clearly wasn't 100 per cent fit and it showed. He gave the ball away too many times and just wasn't his normal self.

Ezri Konsa - 5 - Playing at the bottom of the diamond, the defender was out-strengthened by Shrewsbury’s three-man midfield.

Jake Forster-Caskey - 5 - Made an eye-catching pass to set Ajose free in the first-half, but today wasn't his best display. His set-pieces were awful.

Joe Aribo - 6 - Had a few flashes of brilliance and should have won his team a penalty when his cross-shot hit Mat Sadler’s arm.

Josh Magennis - 4 - He was so ineffective for Charlton and was bullied by Shrewsbury’s defence.

Nicky Ajose - 4 - Similarly to his strike partner, he was given no service and didn't do enough off the ball.
