Player ratings from Charlton’s 1-0 defeat to Shrewsbury in their play-off semi-final first leg…
Ben Amos - 7 - Made a good save to stop Bryn Morris from range and was a man mountain in the box.
Ezri Konsa - 7 - Never pulled out of any 50/50 tackles and put in one of his best displays at right-back.
Patrick Bauer - 7 - His vital interception prevented Carlton Morris from pulling the trigger in the second-half.
Jason Pearce - 7 - The Addicks’ skipper led by example as he always does. Didn't put a foot wrong.
Jay Dasilva - 8 - Charlton’s Player of the Year was one of their standout performers. Carried the ball incredibly well.
Ben Reeves - 4 - He plays so much better in a central position. The midfielder was very quiet out wide on the right - lost the ball too many times.
Ahmed Kashi - 7 - He broke up everything in the midfield. Charlton must tie him down to a new deal soon.
Jake Forster-Caskey - 7 - Controlled the tempo of the game. His passing was typically brilliant.
Stephy Mavididi - 6 - He always tried to make something happen and gave his all. Held on to the ball for too long at times.
Josh Magennis - 7 - His hold-up play was outstanding. He won nearly all of his headers and bullied Shrewsbury’s defence.
Nicky Ajose - 6 - Never stopped running for his team. Linked up well with Magennis.
Subs:
Tariqe Fosu - 6
Joe Aribo - 5
Michal Zyro - N/A
