Karlan Ahearne-Grant will play no part in Charlton’s play-off games.
The Addicks attacker enjoyed a successful loan spell with Crawley, scoring nine goals in 15 games.
Crawley finished 14th in League Two, but Ahearne-Grant’s loan deal extended until June in case they made the play-offs.
Bowyer told News Shopper: “When he went to Crawley, they were going for the play-offs themselves, so his contract runs until June.

“It means he’s not able to be involved [with us] which is a shame because he’s another good player.
“I think he’s scored nine goals in 15 games. That’s outstanding for somebody who’s playing out wide. I’ve always liked Karlan, he’s a great player.”
