Charlton will earn £250,000 if Joe Gomez makes his full England debut in the upcoming friendlies.
Gomez, who came through the Addicks’ renowned academy, was sold to Liverpool in a £3.5m deal in 2015.
The versatile defender recovered from a cruciate ligament injury last term and has become Jurgen Klopp’s first-choice right-back.
Catford-born Gomez received a first call-up to the England senior team after his early season form.
He has featured 12 times in the 2017/18 campaign and put in a man-of-the-match display against Manchester United last month.
And if Gomez starts against Germany or Brazil, Charlton will bag £250,000.
The Addicks earned a small fee when the 20-year-old made his debut for England’s Under-21s side.
Gomez showed his potential at the Valley as a 17-year-old playing in the Championship.
And three years on, he is now fighting for a place in Gareth Southgate’s 2018 World Cup squad.
