Karl Robinson has been pleased with Charlton's consistency this season.

The Addicks have made a promising start to the campaign and sit sixth in League One with a game in hand.

Charlton have been unplayable at times - and convincingly beat promotion-chasing Fleetwood last time out.

When asked if Robinson would have taken the Addicks’ current position in the table at the beginning of the season, he told News Shopper: “I think everybody would have said that would be a reasonable start.

“I’ve been more impressed by the performances than the results in some ways.

“Our consistency in our performance levels has probably been seven or eight out of 10 most weeks.

“We've not had that 6-0 or 5-0 win yet and we’ve not at those massive changes [in our performances] where we've been high one week and down the next week.

“There have been one or two slight declines in certain games where we weren't really at it.

“The first-half in the Bury game, we didn't get into any fluidity or rhythm. But we've been quite consistent.”
