Leyton Orient have confirmed the exit of the Head of Recruitment Roberto Gagliardi after weeks of speculation he had already departed Brisbane Road.

The Italian took up the role in February 2016 having spent two years as a scout and goalkeeping coach under owner Francesco Becchetti.

He lasted one year and two months in his latest role at the east London club.

The club website released a statement which read: "The club can confirm they have terminated the contract of Head of Recruitment Roberto Gagliardi."

The O's take on Crewe Alexandra tomorrow at Gresty Road (3pm kick-off).
