Leyton Orient have confirmed they have accepted the resignation of Danny Webb from his post as first team manager in what is another blow for the League Two club.
Yesterday evening, The East London Guardian Series reported the 33-year-old had left from his role as the O's boss after only two months in the role.
Webb took over the job on January 29 after the previous boss Andy Edwards left for a coaching role at the FA.
He managed two wins from his 12 games in charge but leaves with immediate effect along with goalkeeper coach Martin Brennan.
The former Southend United player's assistant Omer Riza is now the fifth boss at the helm in the 2016/17 season and will manage until the end of the season.
A club statement wrote: "His first game in charge will be Saturday's home Sky Bet League Two game against Wycombe Wanderers.
"He's very determined to make sure that the team finishes the season strong and he's looking forward to the challenge."
After Orient suffered a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Crawley Town and remain rooted in 24th place on the table, Webb revealed some home truths about the E10 club.
He said: "It is a little bit like groundhog day in the manner of the goals conceded.
"I think even the games where we got clapped off at home and played every so well, we always got clapped off for our attacking play.
"I think today before they scored the first goal we were excellent, I think that has been the story of it for me know.
"Hopefully the penny will now drop with some people that this has been coming for a very long time.
"And I keep singing on my own the same hymn about next season with the youngsters and I am just waiting for someone to back me up on it which is just getting a little bit frustrating.
"The only people who are backing me up at the moment is these punters and you lot.
"Least people are seeing what I am trying to do. At the same that is why I have been playing down the staying up staying up message all the time because with what we have got it was always going to be hard."
Danny Webb texted all his players last night to tell them he was leaving Leyton Orient. Couldn't take it any more. Too much owner meddling

Some fans gave their thoughts on the news this morning on twitter.
@GuardianOrient Shona this is a hammer blow. Danny was the catalyst for #LOFC fans to reunite. I dare FB to ever set foot in Leyton again

@GuardianOrient a sad indictment of all that's going on. DW went looking for answers, clearly felt he was left with no option but to quit.

@GuardianOrient Depressing but not surprising. We just go from one disaster to another now.

@GuardianOrient I just can't understand why he hasn't sold up yet what is his plan?! There's nothing to gain here now

@GuardianOrient keeping DW and letting him gather for next season would attract buyers. Now , it seems it's a lot less likely to happen

@GuardianOrient With Bechetti at the helm, going out of business is a distinct possibility, no?

@GuardianOrient just shows how toxic the club is, a man with nothing but passion for the club pushed out by an inept owner

@GuardianOrient We are dying a slow death till Becchetti sells up or walks away.
