Another thrashing this past weekend, this time at the hands of a drab Crawley side who didn't really offer too much to warrant a 3-0 win, writes fans view correspondents Paul Levy and Steve Nussbaum.

Except they exploited our weakness, not winning headers from set pieces. That's been the theme of 2017 so far. Not being clinical in our own box and up the other end we haven’t been clinical enough there either. Recent score lines have been 3,4,5-0 which seems harsh on the young squad who are doing their best.

We start games off brightly enough and the opposition look worried about our pace on the counter attack. Sadly without a clinical, fit and available striker we offer no potency. Liburd is clearly not fancied by Danny Webb and Massey up front as the striker clearly isn't the answer either. Young Sam Dalby has tried his luck up front but without the service, chances have been few and far between.

All in all, the club is in a mess, on and off the pitch. Two weeks ago saw us in the High Court as HMRC and some other creditors sought to get money the club owes to them. The club ended up paying the HMRC debt before the hearing, shame they couldn't put out a statement, even a short one, to confirm they’ve paid and allay fears us fans have about the sustainability of the club.

Danny Webb post match against Crawley said that the club needs a revamp and this is spot on. We need to identify the players who need to be kept for next season and start planning recruitment now, get rid of the players who will not be given new contracts and start planning for life in the conference. There is no doubt that Danny has done an excellent job and if given time and the responsibility of recruitment could prove to be a very good manager for the O’s!

The great positive out of all of this is the togetherness us Orient fans have. Galvanised by the Leyton Orient Fans Trust who started a Regeneration Fund at a recent meeting (see their Facebook page for the video of the meetings), has seen donations come in from all corners of the football community. Auctioning memorabilia has proved very popular with some fans giving up treasured items and many ex players have got in touch with us to offer match worn shirts. Kevin Lisbie, Mat Baudry, Dean Cox, Moses Odubajo and Charlie Daniels to name a few, and thanks to everyone who has bid on items so far. With more amazing items to come, keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter accounts for more exciting memorabilia.

Sunday night will see us reach a proud goal for the podcast as we will be recording our 100th episode. Little did we know almost 3 years ago of how much drama was about to hit the streets of E10 as we both sat nervously talking about our expectations for the season following a play off final defeat and a new chairman. We thought we would be just talking about football and wouldn't be able to fill 30 mins every fortnight. How wrong we were as in that time we have had numerous sackings, hotelgate, meet the chairman evening, relegations, mind boggling appointments, the CEO and players in our homes, Orient Player commentary, LOFT meetings and much more. Thank you to everybody who has listened to any of our episodes or interviews and to anyone who follows us on any of our social media accounts.

An update on our auctions can be found in the upcoming Episode 100 of our podcast which will be available on Sunday night, which has the most comprehensive round up anywhere in the world.

Here's to the next 100, up the O’s!
