Danny Web has been appointed Leyton Orient manager after Andy Edwards took the decision to resign.
Webb became first team coach in July 2016 before being made Edwards’ assistant and will be tasked with ensuring the O’s retain their League Two status.
He takes over with Orient in the relegation zone after yesterday’s 2-0 defeat to Mansfield Town and will take charge of his first game against Carlisle United at Brisbane Road on Saturday.
The O’s are a point adrift of safety and are without a win in their last five league matches.
The 33-year-old has been put in charge until the end of the season.
