Dutch coach reveals he'd love to boss the Hammers
DUTCH coach Aad de Mos has revealed that he would "love the chance" to manage West Ham.
The former Ajax and PSV Eindhoven boss still has ties with the Irons, made while he was in charge at Belgian outfit KV Mechelen in 2002.
And de Mos - who won the European Cup Winners' Cup and European Super Cup with Mechelen in 1988, as well as three Dutch Eredivisie titles and two Belgian league titles - admitted to Sky Sports that he still has an appreciation for the east London club.
"It's a club I'd love the chance to manage one day," said the 61-year-old, who departed Vitesse Arnhem two weeks ago after falling out with the club's hierarchy.
"If an opportunity ever arose it would be very difficult to turn down."
However, de Mos would face a wait on his hands to get into the Irons hotseat.
Current boss Alan Curbishley has just guided the club to tenth place in the Premier League despite a season-long injury crisis, and is unlikely to be replaced by chairman Bjorgolfur Gudmundsson.
