FORMER Scotland keeper Rab Douglas has returned to Leicester City for personal reasons - leaving Blues with no sub goalie and no keeper at all for their New Year's Day clash with Barnet.
Blues were forced to accept the 35-year-old ex-Celtic glovesman's plea to leave even though it leaves them in the lurch with on-loan teenager Frank Fielding as their only fit net-minder.
Boss Paul Lambert said: "We had to let Rab go because of his personal circumstances which were beyond our control.

"It seems this club is jinxed with goalkeepers. We had four, now we've only got one fit one."
Douglas played just once for the Blues in last week's 2-2 draw with Hereford where he was blameless as he was beaten twice in the final three minutes.
Scott Shearer is a long-term casualty and although Jamie Young is recovering quicker than expected from his ruptured tendon he will not be ready to answer Blues' New Year's Day crisis.
Fielding is ineligible for that game because his loan expires after the December 29 trip to Shrewsbury - and can't be resigned on loan for the rest of the season until January 2.
That means Wycombe will have to put an outfield player in goal if Fielding gets injured tomorrow and will have to make an emergency loan signing for Barnet.
