FORMER fireman Greg Heald is hoping his young guns can put out Liverpool's fire when the teams meet in the third round of the FA Youth Cup at Adams Park on Wednesday (ko 7pm).
Heald's team are unbeaten this season and he can't wait to pit them against the reigning champions.
And the former Orient, Barnet, Peterborough and Norwich player, who spent 18 months in the fire service after hanging up his playing boots, has warned the Kop kids his team can beat them.

He said: "I really believe there can be something for us in this game. We are not turning up just for the experience. We can beat them.
"We're the underdogs but we will be looking for a good game and a good battle.
"It will be 11 good players from Liverpool against 11 good players from Wycombe and may the best team win."
Wanderers booked their dream tie against the Anfield academy by thrashing Dagenham 5-0 in the previous round.
And Liverpool won't be taking them lightly as they begin the defence of the trophy they won by beating Manchester United.
Koppites youth team manager Hugh McAuley, and Anfield Academy manager John Owens, watched Wycombe's destruction of Dagenham and Redbridge and won't underestimate Blues.
McAuley said: "This is Wycombe's cup final and we'll have to get the lads physically and mentally right and they will be. It is important that we perform and the preparation starts now."
The Reds' youth system has produced Steven Gerrard, Robbie Fowler and Michael Owen while Wycombe's highest profile graduate is Roger Johnson, now in the Championship with Cardiff.
But Wanderers have yet to lose this season. And, as well as hammering Dagenham, they put another five past Northampton last Saturday and have also notched two 8-0 victories over Hereford.
Heald said: "I think Liverpool will be worried about us. We are frightening going forward, we've got a lot of ability in the side but it is not just one player. We've got four or five great attacking players and when you couple that with our defence it's a good combination.
"There are no weak areas in the team. All these players have the potential to make the grade. It is how they develop and cope with the mental side and discipline side of it and how they respond to setbacks
"It is exciting to be playing against a team like them.
"This is the tie that the boys deserve for all their hard work this season.
"Wednesday will be a big night for the boys and the club but there's no point in us having a really good youth team and having an unbeaten run, winning leagues and cups if the boys don't get through to the first team. That is our aim. Success for us is getting boys through."
