What, no parade?
Tottenham have revealed that there will be no parade of the Carling Cup.
Despite an offer from Haringey Council, the club felt that fixture congestion would make it too difficult to fit in.
The trophy will be presented to fans at White Hart Lane before kick-off at the UEFA Cup tie with PSV Eindhoven next Thursday and will be on display at the club shop this weekend.
Captain Ledley King and manager Juande Ramos will bring the cup to an official reception at the Council's invitation, on a date yet to be decided.
In the meantime, the Spurs squad continue their own parade through the clubs of central London.

The lads deserve to have some fun! But they shouldn't get complacent. We can bring home two trophies not just one!

What about all the fans who couldn't get to wembley on Sunday, and won't be able to get to the game against PSV. With a fan base the size that Tottenham enjoy, a lot of people will be dissappointed. The parades bring in more people than could ever fit into the Lane, people bring their young kids and this was always the Tottenham way, it was what i was bought up on and had hoped to take my little girl with me. I'm very dissappointed
