Going to Wembley in style
A group of Spurs fans are travelling in style to the Carling Cup final and have hired the England coach - not, they are anxious to stress, that they are unhappy with Juande Ramos.
Indeed, the coach that they have hired is the one that carries the England international team to and from all matches both in the UK and on continental Europe.
Only recently manufactured, and with the full array of on-board entertainment, bar, catering and other luxury facilities, it will be carrying 40 or so Spurs supporters up Wembley Way in the hope that it will bring their team a little more luck than the normal occupants.
The brainchild of Finchley accountant Jeff Mendelssohn, he said that he could have filled the coach four times over, has a healthy waiting list and is almost expecting an "ebay situation".
On board, the party will be fed both lunch and a diet of Spurs songs, videos and DVDs re-living their famous moments of the past.
