Teenager Billy Marshall is confident Leatherhead fans have a lot to look forward to next season despite a woeful campaign this time round.
Marshall maintained his rich vein of form when he struck the Tanners' consolation goal in the 2-1 defeat to Walton Casuals at Fetcham Grove on Saturday.
It meant a 17th-place finish for Leatherhead, a far cry from their play-off hopes back in August.

And Marshall admitted it had been a season to forget.
He said: "It was a very disappointing game and a disappointing season.
"It is always good to go out on a high and we couldn't manage it.
"As there has been nothing to play for for a while, it would have been nice to give the fans something to go home with but it wasn't to be."
Marshall will remain at Fetcham Grove next season, having signed a new one-year contract. But the 19-year-old revealed he expected a fresh line-up come next season.
He added: "For the boys, the past few games have all been about trying to impress for next season.
"Ian has said there will be people coming and going, so it was important to stake a claim."
And Marshall promised things would improve.
He added: "It has been a difficult season, with so many players going and the change of management, and, hopefully, that will not be the case next season.
"I still think we have a good enough squad here and there is likely to be a lot of players coming in.
"I thought we were capable of making the play-offs this year, and I think that will be the case next season."
