Boss Jimmy Cooper insists Metropolitan Police have surpassed their targets for the season, regardless of how they fare in tonight's play-off semi-final at Cray Wanderers.
With fourth place guaranteed, the manager rang the changes at the weekend, and the Blues came unstuck with a 2-0 home defeat to Dulwich Hamlet.
But Cooper said: "I think we have exceeded our expectations.

"We had 10 first team players leave at the end of last year and I thought it would take a lot longer for things to gel.
"For a club like us to make the play-offs is an achievement in itself."
Two goals midway through the first half sunk the Met, but Cooper defended his decision to play a depleted side.
He added: "Previously, we have played our strongest side and have picked up injuries.
"We decided to have a look at some of the youngsters.
"Dulwich should probably won by at least five goals but I put that down purely to the amount of changes we made."
Saturday's match attracted a meagre crowd of 148, and it is an area Cooper hopes to build on next season.
He added: "We will always struggle as we do not have a true location or an identity but those who do come down are treated to some excellent football and, hopefully, we can tempt some more."
